Family photos finally archived!

Last night I burned six DVD+R's, finally archiving what took two years to complete. I now have two copies of three discs totaling almost every photo I have from all my albums. I will buy a safe soon so that I can guarantee their continued survival...

Del Taco revisited...

Yesterday Ashley and I took a trip to Albuquerque, to sign a paper the Nissan dealership forgot about on her Pathfinder. What made the trip worthwhile were the two visits to some old southern California haunts of mine, Del Taco and Wienerschnitzel. We don't have them in Santa Fe. Winchell's donuts was also on the list, but the only one closed THE WEEK before. Fiddlesticks.

Anyway...I tasted for the first time in over two years those lusciously fired concoctions known on the menu as Deluxe Chili Cheddar Fries. They were just as tasty as I remember them. Now if we could only get someone to open an In-N-Out franchise...

The First Day...

My olds Speech teacher once spoke of the importance in writing down your daily goings-on in a journal. I have always believed she was correct, and yet, something got lost in my attempts to implement it. Perhaps this will be a better way.
